Sometimes, love has its own festival. Kim and Mark’s wedding was exactly that: a festival of joy nestled in the greenery of Lósi Major, the kind you never want to leave.
Lósi Major always shows a slightly different face. Sometimes it glows with the charm of its rustic barn, sometimes it’s bathed in the warm light of a hillside sunset, and sometimes it turns into the perfect backdrop for a laughter-filled group photo. But now, at Kim and Mark’s wedding, it took on a whole new hue: it transformed into a bohemian, international festival, where the „Braunies Festival 2025” sign wasn’t just decoration, but a state of mind.
This wedding was truly international. Mark’s side brought family from Hungary, Kim’s side brought relatives from Germany, and their friends came from all around the world. This diversity melted into one on their big day. Everyone laughed together, shed tears of joy together, and danced together until dawn.
What touched me most deeply was that the ceremony was led by a close friend. „Today is not the beginning of this story, it’s a joyful continuation. It’s how joy, growth, laughter, and all the quiet everyday moments that build a life,” he began. He told their story with heartfelt authenticity: how they met, how their bond deepened, and how they set off to see the world together.
„Let me tell you a little love story. A love story, of course. One that begins the way many modern fairy tales begin. Do it Tinder.”
That first walk up 406 steps, the quiet of quarantine, and the decision to travel the world together—it all led to this day.
Another favorite moment of mine was the unity ceremony. Wanting something truly unique, Kim and Mark decided to bring in a piece of German tradition by tapping a beer keg and sharing a drink. Except… the tap wouldn’t go in. At all. And it was precisely this imperfection that brought the most laughter. Watching them laugh freely and joyfully, completely unfazed, was such a beautiful reminder: no wedding is ever perfect, but that’s what makes it unforgettable. If the couple can laugh together when things go wrong, those become the most cherished moments.
So many sweet memories come to mind. Like when Kim tossed a plush ostrich instead of a bouquet—because in German, the word „Strauß” means both. A little play on words, a spark of humor, and suddenly the moment became uniquely theirs.
Or how they brought a two-seater sofa for the group photo. The couple sat in the middle, and the guests gathered around: sitting on the arms of the sofa, in their laps, or taking their place altogether. Everyone joined in the fun, and not only did it create lasting memories, but also some incredibly creative, one-of-a-kind photos.
I absolutely loved editing this film. The joy of that day poured through the screen and filled my editing desk. Time and again, I found myself back at Lósi Major, hearing the laughter, wiping away tears while cutting a particular line from a vow or a speech. The film is full of original audio—not just visuals. You don’t just see the day, you feel it.
Kim and Mark’s wedding video wasn’t just a project for me. It was a creative journey I lived with joy and gratitude from beginning to end. It’s a true gift when so much emotion, sincerity, and laughter come together in one day.
